About Me
Hi! I’m Polly, and I can’t wait to get to know you.
A little about me: I was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Princeton, New Jersey. After graduating from Colgate University in upstate New York, I moved to London. There, I became a first grade teacher. After several years in rainy London, my husband and I moved to sunny Los Angeles. I got my master’s degree in teaching from Pepperdine University and became a fifth and sixth grade teacher. I left teaching after the birth of my third son, and decided to make my favorite pastime my new career.
In 2025, I received a Certificate in Editing and Publishing from UCLA Extension.
I spent my teaching career giving feedback to my students to help them improve their work, including their writing. I know how to give constructive, kind, and actionable feedback.
